Description
Alphabolin is an injectable steroid made by Alpha Pharma which contains Methenolone Enanthate. Primobolan Depot is the injectable version of the steroid Methenolone and, although it produces a weaker effect than Deca Durabolin it is a very good basic steroid whose effects are predominantly anabolic. The fact that an Enanthate ester is added to this steroid enables a slow and gradual release from the injection site. Primobolan’s popularity stems from the fact that it is the only steroid that seems to work well on a low-calorie diet (making it a pre-contest drug of choice) and side effects are rarely a problem since it is relatively nontoxic, low in androgens and it does not convert to estrogen (aromatize) therefore estrogen related side effects are not an issue. In addition to this it seems to have a positive effect on the immune system (thus its popularly used for Aids patients) and the fact that it adds primarily lean mass leads to a strengthening of the whole-body system.
It is used by people who are very susceptible to estrogenic side effects, having lower estrogenic properties than Nandrolone. Primobolan is also not overly suppressive of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis, although how much so is debatable. For this reason, many bodybuilders use Primobolan in between steroid cycles during their “off” period to help maintain their gains and strength.
Dosages and administration
Primobolan can be injected intramuscular once or twice a week and the overall dosage throughout the week should be in the range of 200-800mg for male athletes. It is advised that the duration of the cycle be no more than 12 weeks.
Primobolan is also possibly one of the safer anabolic steroids for females due to very low virilization effects in short-term usage. The allowable dosage for women is 50-100mg per week for about 4 weeks.
